Beware of Claim Sharks

Claim sharks are unaccredited individuals and companies that charge veterans and their loved ones thousands of dollars for guidance that veteran service organizations, non-profits, and our firm provide for free. Under current law, agents and attorneys may not charge or be paid for services with respect to services provided before the date on which notice of the initial claim is issued.  Then why do these companies still exist? Follow the money - one estimate from 2021 indicated the VA claims consulting market is worth $73 billion annually.
